hello, my name is luis estrada, and i am asoftware developer. in this video, i'll show you how to get free photo editing software.there are many great programs out there, that you can download for free. for example, picasa3, developed by google, and available at picasa.google.com. this software provides many useful editingfeatures, like red eye removal, copy, adding text to the image, rotation, color correction,and many great effects too. with picasa, you can create collages, slide shows, wallpapersand more. picasa works as a photo album too. it allows you to import files from your digitalcamera,to an album, with the click of a button. you can create virtual photo albums, thatwork as play lists for quick viewing, and sharing. if you have a google account, youcan use it to upload your entire pictures
collection to the web, by using the free picasawebs album service. you could even send email invitations to your contacts, for your newlycreated web albums. another great application that you can download for free, is the gimp,available at gimp.org. this program is perhaps the most powerful free editing software. ithas many great features, that stand against those of expensive programs, like adobe photoshop.gimp is not as easy to use as picasa, but it's certainly much more powerful. if youwant to get serious about photo editing, without spending any money, gimp is certainly theway to go. in the documentation section of the website, you can find many tutorials anda user manual, to get started.i'm luis estrada, and i've just shown you how to edit your digital images.
